Notes:
Braga grew up as a mercenary brat on the world of Outreach. His father, Amalcar Braga, ran a company-sized mercenary group of light and medium mechs called Braga's Buzzing Bees. However, in 3055, when Felipe was only thirteen years old, his father's entire unit was wiped out on Zhongshan while hunting the Red Corsair. Felipe immediately made it his life's work to rebuild his father's unit and despite a tough path was able to put together a new company of Buzzing Bees by 3064. Unfortunately, the FedCom Civil War was not kind to Braga's Buzzing Bees and they were reduced to a mere lance of beat-up mechs. They ended up on the outskirts of Solaris City, engaging in unlicensed duels in order to pay for supplies, while Braga attempted to renegotiate a new contract.
Although he put it off as long as possible, Braga knew that the only hope for his small unit was to merge into a larger mercenary group. When the Flaming Devil Monkeys decided to go mercenary, he seized the opportunity, presenting Bane with a proposal. In exchange for joining his command, Bane agreed to repair the Bees' mechs and pay off their creditors.
Braga is frustrated by his inability to fulfill his father's legacy, but remains hopeful that as part of the Flaming Devil Monkeys, he will have the chance to honor his father's memory once again.
Braga was able to salvage a cutting edge Phoenix Hawk from the remains of the pirates who attacked the Monkeys on Acamar and quickly traded up from his beat-up Owens.
