@Sarcaz - There is indeed a plan for both programs to work together. At some point I plan on setting up a function in MHQ to upload information to the database. And I am starting to get back to MHQ - One more week of teaching this damn summer class and I will finally have some programming time. Also, I just got some additional dev help with MHQ so that will help speed things a long (I hope).

@reinwood - Most of the pictures come from my perusal of DeviantArt and other outlets.

Does this mean that MekHQ will be put on hold, or is the plan for both programs to work with each other?

Hello Taharqa, I added your Name Generator as a link on my blog. I want to get the word out on it because it is so cool. In the past, 80s & 90s, I would randomly pick names from the white pages of our local telephone book to garner names for a unit, but this is so much quicker and a better way to get less European and therefore realistic sounding names. Thanks

I really like this program. It seems like a great way to organize your units. I have approximately the same amount of data for two company size units, and I would love something like this to better organize them and make them more accessible. Right now they are just typed out in Microsoft Word.
I have to ask; where did you get the photos for your MechWarrior characters—they look great. I took photos from the internet and made them my own, but yours are much better and probably not licensed to other people.

See you got me all confused. The word "have" in my previous should be corrected to "has," because I really am only one entity, not two.

Allow me to point out, once again, that the above mentioned "Loren Coleman" is actually "Loren L. Coleman."

I am the older, who knows if wiser Loren Coleman, who have been using that name, professionally, as an author since 1969, quite a few years before "Loren L." was on the writing scene. I author cryptozoology and social science non-fiction books, and not science-fiction, fantasy, fiction, or RPG manuals.

Catalyst Game Labs is partially owned, allegedly, by this Loren L. Coleman, not me, Loren Coleman.

Thank you for making this clarification.

Just one thing, Perception should most certainly remain a skill as it is something that can be improved through practise.

Yeah, I have been rethinking my skill system and decided to put Perception back in, mainly because you need it for several kinds of opposed rolls. I will be posting more on my revised skill list shortly.
